BLAINE has over 40 years in the automotive industry. Blaine's father Ron was very influential in Blaine's life and the lives of various family members. Blaine's parents owned and operated a successful Sunoco service station, employing members of his family at different times, all the while holding down a full time position as Service Manager for a Ford dealership in Whitby.Right from birth, Blaine was exposed to the automotive world. Not only was Blaine's Dad a mechanic but six of Blaine's Uncles were successful mechanics working in the Durham area. Cars were in his blood and he knew that he wanted to somehow be involved with cars when he grew up. From as young as the age of seven, Blaine was removing motors from motorcycles, painting them and replacing them for fun. This naturally transitioned into cars and he started his apprenticeship to become a 'Class A' mechanic, Automobile, Truck & Coach technician at the age of 16. Blaine has numerous accreditations in all automobile systems and components.
Following in his fathers footsteps and always having the entrepreneurial spirit, Blaine opened up Percy's Auto Service in 1989 and successfully operated his own automotive repair business for 14 years. After the sale of Percy's Auto Service in 2003, he certified in 'Automotive Law & Ethics' and entered into the automotive sales industry knowing that his ultimate goal was to own his own dealership.
A few short years later, Blaine, along with his wife Julia opened Lakeside Auto Sales, offering quality ONE-OWNER cars, trucks, classic cars, trailers & boats, Corvette & Special Interest Vehicles, MTO, Vehicle & Insurance Appraisals.

JULIA is a certified Operations Manager. Starting out as a bilingual Customer Service representative for a medical distribution company, Julia has worked in all facets of the business industry. From managing million dollar inventories to dealing with procurement and staffing issues, Julia is also certified in 'Automotive Law & Ethics'. Julia's energetic and enthusiastic personality has contributed to her success.
As Blaine and Julia enter into their second decade of business together, they are excited to see what the next 10 years will entail. What started as a small used vehicle store has turned into one of Bobcaygeon's main attractions. Blaine and Julia are complimented daily on their business, the quality of their vehicles and their ability to keep their lot a constant 'head turner'.
