Inline 4 Cylinder with a 4-Speed manual transmission - A true British Classic
A little bit of TF history:
It was controversial from day one, MG's original TF Midget.
The last of the square riggers, the TF gained its title due to the strong resemblance to the pre-war Midgets.
The general buying public felt this "facelifted" T Series, even with its distinctive sloping bonnet, laid-back grille, and faired-in headlamps, was outdated in the face of its envelope-bodied, 100-mph-capable Austin-Healey 100 and Triumph TR2 competitors, while the tradition-minded among the MG faithful found its freshly windswept appearance shocking. This model, introduced in October 1953, would come into its own a year later when given a performance boost courtesy of a larger engine. That additional turn of speed, this model's limited production of 9600 units, and a growing appreciation of its unique style have made the TF 1500 a must-have among T Series fans, with steadily increasing book values to match.
A nostalgic classic which oozes traditional British style and charm, today a rare sight on the roads.
